These cottages are equipped with air-conditioning, have a B&B/self-catering option and are elegantly furnished with a spacious living area and kitchenette and a veranda with a beautiful view of the farm and indigenous bush – ideal for bird watching! There is one en-suite bedroom downstairs and an upstairs landing with two single beds.

    Mikhaya

    For the more adventurous nature lovers who would like to enjoy the essence of Africa we have added a traditional African hut, exactly like the ones still inhabited by millions of African families today, about 3 km from the main guest house in the nature reserve. Transport to and from Mikhaya will be provided if needed.

    There is no electricity or hot water, but candles and paraffin lamps are available and lots of wood for making fire to cook or heat water.

Proudly owned and managed by Cathy and Peter Howard, Kududu Guest House is part of a working alfalfa and stock farm. Visitors are warmly invited to view the bustle of activities as alfalfa is baled or planted, Nguni cattle are dipped or herded, or our Dorper and Damara sheep are tended to.

Situated on a hill, Kududu has panoramic 360° views across the farmlands and extensive tranquil Eastern Cape bush. Its position allows for soothing isolation from intrusive sounds.
